These gloves are meant to reduce sun exposure to the user's hands and they do that quite well. Very lightweight and breathable make them good for hot weather, they fit very well, open fingers allow good dexterity, and the leather palm gives good grip while driving. They get dirty fairly easily and are rather difficult to clean and are not especially durable which is why I did not rate them a 5. I found my first pair at a chain store for ~$12 which made them a great buy but when going to the sunny Caribbean I was willing to pay more for a replacement pair.
