I got this shoe on a discount over a year ago, and have not used it for running, because the cushioning for shock is awful. I got it (buy 1/2 size up) for weight workouts in the gym. GREAT stiff sole and stability for lunging, etc., and cushioning is fine for this purpose. If you really want a great running shoe, all I can say is NIKE ZOOM VOMERO. That's all you need to know.
