Crank Brothers Bike Shoe Shield Review
The primary goal of these is to protect shoe soles from extra wear and tear from the narrow wings of Crank Brothers pedals. They work for that just fine.In addition, they really improve the feel and float of Crank Brothers pedals, since now the wings can pivot on a slick metal surface instead of a sticky nylon or rubber surface. I love the feel and the clip-in is easier as well.
Like I said, I just plain won't use CB pedals without these anymore. My only knock is that they don't come stock with the pedals.
