Tifosi Wisp Polarized Sunglasses Review
I've been purchasing my sunglasses all my life from the doctors office because either I need the Rx in them, so I've been getting Transitions, (that change as the light conditions do), or I need high end sunglasses for over contacts - either way I can never escape the high cost of having to wear superior sunglasses or ANY glasses for that matter and I took a chance on these to save me a bunch and am super impressed!!!First off, I hear ya - you can't try them on till you buy and they are physically in your possession so I did this: I ordered a bunch of this model from Amazon and decided which frame looks and fits best and which lens met my needs. (Tried 2 before this: both a no go and frame WAY TO BIG; this can be VERY DECEIVING ONLINE!!) Finally, VIOLA!! ~> This one is the WINNER!! :):)
The red "Fototech" means the same as "Photochromatic": They change to suite the amount of light exposure, hence they are terrific for DRIVING!! Do not expect them to react like Transitions, but this red lens changes VERY FAST as compared to the others!! The amber high contrast lens is great for driving too, (not as light-reactive though), and the Tifosi Optics Wisp Sunglasses in Matte Silver are an even nicer frame than this one and I have those too but the wrong link keeps posting so here one I created: [...]. The only down side for me was the gray lens they come with but possibly many people might like these as they do not have low vision problems as I do and the gray is very attractive too. But it's no problem...all I do is pop out and change the lenses to these red ones!!
They are a spin on Oakley razors from back in the day I had then as now the lenses can be individually interchanged so you can have different colors for different uses. But I recommend this one for everyday use and the fast reactivity response and most definitely for driving or the HC amber color. The Tifosi Wisp Polarized Sunglasses are also really nice if brown works for you.
It doesn't say so on the description here but I'm positive these are polarized too as I have also stated the optics are completely distortion free:
There is no distortion with the curved lenses or glare and the optics are AWESOME!! They are WONDERFUL FOR SMALL FACES which also causes me to end up so many times having them custom made at the docs till I found these here at Amazon.
**These glasses are saving me a FORTUNE without sacrificing quality or special specs!!** They look great, I gotten a ton of compliments during the short time I've had mine and they fit nice and snugly and don't move on your face even if needed for sports. They do NOT hurt your ears and have wicked nice temples!! ~>I'm super impressed and very HAPPY with them for an incredible price!! :):)
**AND I have the advantage of interchanging the lenses not only to alter color but in case later they get scratched I'm not stuck replacing the entire pair!!**
If you have very long eyelashes they may touch the inside of the lens as these sunglasses do fit your face very closely. This is my case too - all you need to do is wear them a bit further away and the nose pads will accommodate this. However, they do not touch my eyebrows or leave skin oil marks that drive me insane.

(And right now I NEED to be wearing superior sunglasses as I have Advanced Amblyopia from having TWO "Lazy Eyes" as a kid and am awaiting cataract surgery - sunlight, snow and bright lighting are very bad for cataracts).
