RHINO SOCKS SS series, Power Surge, black/grey, anklet sports cycling biking hiking running socks Review
Update: These socks feel the same today as they did the first time I wore them six months ago. Even after several wash and wears. The material is excellent and comfortable. I've even wore them to work a few times and they felt great on my feet (I don't think anyone noticed they funky designs).-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I decided to do a minor experiment and ordered both Rhino and Sockguy socks. Both companies have excellent styles/designs. My foot size is 10.5 and I normally wear an 11 shoe, so I order an XL vice L (I am glad I did). Both orders actually arrived on the same day (what are those chances of happening). I open both packages and right away, I was more impressed with the packing and feel of Rhino socks. They felt softer and seemed to be a better quality than the Sockguys socks. The ultimate test would be trying them on, it was the end of the day and I had been on my feet all day long, so I knew I would be able to tell the difference in quality and feel.
On one foot was Rhino sock and the other was Sockguy. Immediately I noticed a difference. Even in the process of putting them on. I walked around like I was trying on a pair of shoes but in socks. The Rhino feel much better; softer and comfortable. Sockguy was a bit snug and felt like any ordinary sock. The quality was good and I am sure sockguy will last me awhile but it was not was I was expecting. I didn't feel an immediate difference (like I did with Rhino), it felt like I was wearing a sock I bought from Target or Walmart. The product description said it was be the best sock I would ever wear, I disagree. Cool designs, I like the color and again made of good quality but not the best socks I have worn.
Rhino socks felt comfortable, the quality of material was good, cool design. I noticed (felt) the reinforced areas on the socks as described. The best part of Rhino socks, they are nearly 1/2 the price of Sockguys.
I recommend Rhino socks vice Sockguy. The only set back is Rhino is made in Italy vice the U.S.A. Sockguys is made in the U.S.A. I would buy Rhino first. For Sockguy, if there was a cool looking design, I would buy from them again.
