Mizuno Men's Wave Precision 11 Running Shoe Review
I've been trying minimalist shoes for quite awhile, light shoes with low heels or relatively flat shoes but for long runs I was looking for a light weight trainer that had more cushioning. The Precision is mentioned as a minimalist shoe; however, the heel is definitely higher than the forefoot of the sole but not dramatically so. I periodically run on concrete to do hill work outs on overpasses and the extra cushioning makes it much more tolerable. The shoes' upper is a well vented mesh and I like the white upper with orange sole. Although it has been recommended to wear a half size up, I found my pair true to my size, They may be a tinge heavy at 10 ounces as a racer/trainer but they are not far off the mark. Definitely a shoe that will make recovery from a long run much shorter. My one negative, the shoes have a firm heel counter that I think is too firm for a light weight shoe.
