Perfect for Oregon Bike Commutes!
If you are between sizes, you may want to size down, I found the medium to be roomier than the other Pearl Izumi medium cycling pants I own, but I'm keeping them so I can add layers on colder days this winter. I am typically a ladies size 6, 5'4"/130 lbs.
I plan on using these for Mountain Biking this winter as well, you can't tell from the picture, but these pants are pretty rugged. The front of the leg is a sturdy water repellent fabric with darted knee seams for articulation and the rear panel is a more breathable material. The ankle zips are well designed for keeping water out as well. The inside of the pant is a soft, fleecy texture, similar to my thermal PI running tights- which have given me several years of toasty winter runs so far!
I fully expect these to last many seasons; worth the price.
